TOXIKON is a poison apothecary installation created for

the 2022 Bombay Beach Biennale.

this piece of artistic activism draws attention to the deadly environmental living conditions of Bombay Beach and the greater surrounding areas of imperial county. Toxikon references momento mori, an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death, usually represented as a skull and bones &  translated as 'to remember, to bear in mind'.

Only when we embrace death, can we begin to transcend the limitations of time.
